Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yay! Cass got her cookbook! I'm so thrilled!

I don't want to be up. I want to go crawl back in bed. Unfortunately, I have to do math and some final exam studying. Blech.

Also, YAY for Disneyland!

I'm at school...waiting for my tutoring student. I feel like I spend half my life waiting for tutoring students...

That which does not kill you should RUN

What kind of narcotics? Could there be painkillers and/or muscle relaxers (for when my neck/shoulders/back get bad. No, really!)? Hmmm.

Wasn't this an episode of The O.C.?

t edit Also, I made it to work on time this morning for the first time in -- shit, I don't know -- a year, maybe. Only because I had to be at the doctor's office by 8:10 to get blood drawn for a cholesterol test.

Anyway, all my co-workers almost passed out when they came in and I was already here. It made me laugh.

I'm also craving soft-boiled eggs. What is wrong with me? Instead, I just ate a day-old leftover paczki. And now I need a nap.

I swear to god, I'm gonna kill these students. I don't come to school two hours early, at 8:30am, for my health.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In non-travel related news, Episcopalians are so boring. How do we manage to turn Mardi Gras into a pancake supper?

Blame the Church of England baybee! Tom was crazy for getting some pancakes yesterday. He's made me pancake suppers in past years.

Ayla- Now, I don't watch American Idol, but I recognized the name immediately because I just read about her in the Metro (free commuter newspaper thing) this morning- her dad (State Senator Scott Brown) is running for Lt. Governor in MA, and the article was about him dividing his time between Hollywood and Beacon Hill. He's a republican. His wife, Gail Huff, is a local TV reporter. No word on inventing fire, in this particular article.

Had SUCH an awesome dinner last night- it's been 2 years since we got engaged! (though that's not why we went out, we didn't realize that till we sat down). I love the North End.

It just doesn't seem worth your time anymore. You should get your bitch on for these lazy ass slackers.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hey now. There's a lot of good things about the Episcopalian pancake supper. One of my favorite things growing up. We're not boring, just...repressed.

I'm really surprised that this one didn't show up. She's a non-traditional student with kids in college. She seemed like a reliable one.

I'm gonna give her two more minutes, then I'm off to take care of things before my exam. My student this afternoon better show up...especially since I confirmed with her yesterday.

WRATH THEM BUT GOOD VW!

(I'm in a wrathful mood today)

FTR, I love the pancake supper. The Episcopalian church I worked at never did one, which makes me all sad.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I stuffed myself with blueberry pancakes last night. Yum.
