Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I am watching "The Peacekeeeper Wars" and therefore ignoring the rest of contemporary television.

SA, why do you need a loan? That seems like a risky venture, since it wouldn't be a student loan. Wouldn't you be making money in the UK?

It's not so much for being in the UK--it's for the six hundred dollars for the visa, four/five hundred for a plane ticket, and the time between arrival and my first paycheck.

Librarian Warlord

::sits in connie's corner, contemplates re-runs::

With every email the boss(es) send lately, I'm more interested in running away to NZ. ::sigh::

Art Crawl!!!

Hey, I read that Adam Baldwin is going to be on Bones on March 15th!

Ah, gotcha SA. Honestly, I don't know what kind of loan you'd be able to get, really--and you'd probably have to start paying it back right away, nearly (whereas student loans you can put off). You don't have any wealthy aunts or anything who can loan you some dough, I suppose.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hate to say it, but I don't see any likely way besides credit cards. Once you're out of school they don't like to give you money without something that they can take back. And like meara said, they don't give you any time before you start paying back either.

Our wings are not tired

Kristin and I are at Disneyland right now. You should all be jealous. Gotta run, almost on The Matterhorn.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Thought you might like one last excursion. I feel confident I won't be as entertaining as Trudes (or require Federalistas), but, well, I'm here! Yay Proximity!
No one should ever be as entertaining as Trudes was there. I need to check and see if I am running out of time but a jaunt to Mexico sounds fun.

Did she invent fire, orgasms and the Internet?
Whoever did, I shall worship them. Unless they invented mail from anyone but friends as well. Them? I curse.

I have four bags of recycling from going through stacks of mail and papers. And I still have more to go. I am officially the worst adult. I've only sorted and shredded too. I have a whole stack of things that need to be dealt with as well.

I just had something weird pop in my foot. Want someone to rub them and maybe fix whatever I just felt twing. Of course, I don't want it bad enough to invite the foot fetish boy over.

This post brought to you by whiny, sweaty and crank.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

six hundred dollars for the visa,

Holy crap, really? Ouch.

There are banks that do personal loans. Wells Fargo, for instance. I bet the terms are bad, and it's probably a big ole mess, but they are out there. The Great Ex got one several years ago, and it seemed to work out okay for him.

Oh but the rocking thing in my stacks of unopened mail? Opening a bill and then opening a check cause they owed *me* the money instead of the other way around. Kick. Ass.
