See, that would be just waaay TMI about my mother's psyche at the time of my birth.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yes, Erin. Also, singing. And sex appeal. And makeup.
Oh, Ayla, Ayla, Ayla.
Stupid American Idol, messing up my hot guy viewing. No House *or* Bones till next week. Feh.
I am watching "The Peacekeeeper Wars" and therefore ignoring the rest of contemporary television.
SA, why do you need a loan? That seems like a risky venture, since it wouldn't be a student loan. Wouldn't you be making money in the UK?
It's not so much for being in the UK--it's for the six hundred dollars for the visa, four/five hundred for a plane ticket, and the time between arrival and my first paycheck.
::sits in connie's corner, contemplates re-runs::
With every email the boss(es) send lately, I'm more interested in running away to NZ. ::sigh::
Hey, I read that Adam Baldwin is going to be on Bones on March 15th!
Ah, gotcha SA. Honestly, I don't know what kind of loan you'd be able to get, really--and you'd probably have to start paying it back right away, nearly (whereas student loans you can put off). You don't have any wealthy aunts or anything who can loan you some dough, I suppose.
Hate to say it, but I don't see any likely way besides credit cards. Once you're out of school they don't like to give you money without something that they can take back. And like meara said, they don't give you any time before you start paying back either.
Kristin and I are at Disneyland right now. You should all be jealous. Gotta run, almost on The Matterhorn.
