I guess the answer is "The T dot in the summer and the A-T-L in the winter."
I think that would be a very sensible plan. My folks had a retirement plan something like it, Myrtle Beach/Toronto, then they screwed it up and moved to the Rockies.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Hotlanta" appears to have been moved to the Home for Retired Annoying Nicknames.
Please tell me it took "Dago" for San Diego with it? Or even just ran it over on its way outta town? Thx.

Or, there's always SoCal...
I also have a huge bunch of daffs. This is the time of year when TJ's sells bunches, of ten I think, for 99 cents. So I bought three.
Ooo, sounds like time to make my way to TJ's.
Which reminds me, haven't been to TJ in a million years. Don't suppose you'd need one last wander through MX before you leave this end of the continent?

I think it's cheaper to have a house in Atlanta and a house in Toronto.
That Ginger. Smart and practical.
Only two more problems to do on my math homework. Of course, I'm pretty sure I got the last one wrong, 'cause it doesn't make sense. I'll have to have Emily look at it when she gets home from school.
In the meantime, I'm eating chocolate and contemplating studying for my exam that's tomorrow. I don't feel like it, though. I'm kind of lazy.
I would totally move to NZ. Now, if they would have me...
I also have called and will probably continue to call Atlanta the ATL. If it's in rap music, it must be true.
Which reminds me, haven't been to TJ in a million years. Don't suppose you'd need one last wander through MX before you leave this end of the continent?Dunno. What's an MX? Mira Mesa, mebbe? I generally hit the Hillcrest one but I'm always up for new grocery experiences.
Plei has me using PDX for Portland when I type sometimes. It is quite convienent. Also saves me from typing place names and then trying to figure out how to pronounce them "correctly."
Mexico? In a fit of irony, that's one place on this continent that I haven't been to yet. Sure, central america and the other side of the world--but Mexico? Pfft no.
Perfect time for a crosspost with Natter! Soooo. I need to try and take out a loan to offset the cost of my gap-year excursion to work in Britain and Ireland. I also would like to be in a position to pay off my credit card and my shopping cards before I leave the continent in August. But I'm at a loss of where to start. I'm not fully employed (just work-study), but I don't know if that's a factor; and I don't think I can take out a student loan, see as I'm not using this for academics. Can you guys give me advice on where to go, what to say? I don't even know if there's terminology for gap years in America.
Dunno. What's an MX? Mira Mesa, mebbe? I generally hit the Hillcrest one but I'm always up for new grocery experiences.
Mexico?D'OH! I confuzzled Trader Joe's and Tiajuna. Obviously. Because they are soooo similar.
I should maybe go there while it is still only 15 miles away. I could stock up on cheap tequila and underage hookers. Of which I like neither, but they are total bargins.
Cass, I can't believe the price of that house! I had no idea SD real estate had inflated itself that much.
My favorite airport acronym was always NKW, it's the designator for Diego Garcia. We used to say it stood for "No Known Whereabouts."
I sympathize with the hungry folk. The boss man dropped off Girl Scout cookies yesterday and I've been sitting here working my way through a box of Thin Mints. I'm no longer hungry, but I can't seem to stop myself from eating them!
sj, knowing your limits is more important than fulfulling someone else's expectations. Your therapist is not who you need to please.
I didn't stop anywhere to pick up pazcki, today. I did have a couple last week when I picked up donuts for a little farewell gift for the boss man. Lemon and custard, yum.
