Travers: Perhaps you'll favor us with a demonstration while we're here. Buffy: You mean, like, right now? 'Cause, already had my recommended daily dose of fights tonight.

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I left work after two hours with the Cold From Hell (or maybe the flu, not sure). I have taken DayQuil, am in my jammies and am shortly going to watch something fluffy on TV.

ETA: Spidra, that is deeply rude on their part.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I hope you feel better, Robin. At least jammies, fluffy and bed sound good.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I found out that there are TWO polish restaurants in LA. No polish bakeries or places to get fresh kielbasa.

They can't make some damn paczkis for us today???

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The Polski withdrawl is hysterical.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

My grandmother has 4 lemon and 4 custard at her house.

I brought a dozen in to work today (I bring them every year, and write up a little sign explaining the history -- and pronunciation -- of paczki) -- 4 custard, 4 strawberry, 4 blueberry. My co-workers love me today.

Do you give the word for a single paczek?

Nah -- I don't want to confuse them.

t edit As it is, there's no good way to phonetically spell out in English the way paczki is pronounced. Not really. It involves a wiggly "y" sort of sound in the middle, and there ain't no key on my keyboard that can produce it.
