Also: Cass, WTF kind of school is your niece at??
And, I just spent an hour and a half on the phone trying to figure out what the hell to say to my umfriend in Minneapolis. She'd wanted me to go out there in March, and I decided it didn't seem like a good idea, and we're trying to figure out what the hell we're doing anyway. I'm pretty firmly on the "I don't want to date someone in Minnesota" stance, with a side of "and therefore maybe doing anythign else with you isn't a good idea either". But I think she's a little more on the "Long distance sucks, but I like you and what the heck is the problem with doing something which we don't call dating?". Sigh.
Cass, I am glad you got to talk to your niecelet.
Jess, could you call up and set up an appointment with her for whenever-from-now-you'll-be-needing one by calling *today*?
I think they're closed by now, but I'll probably call again tomorrow and ask them to spell her name for me. It's generally months between haircuts for me, so setting up another appointment would be weird.
coughing , spitting, and nose blowing are so attractive

t takes notes for next date
I need to stop double posting today.
Boy wrote back, said I was a "looker." Heh. We'll be in the same city at the same time in about six weeks. This bodes well. Worried for nothing!
Whoohoo, Zenkitty! One more umfriend for the books!
Jessica, I love the new haircut! Definitely get the stylist's name, she's worth hanging on to. I usually make my next appointment the same day. I have to get my hair cut every 5-6 weeks, so it's 1) easier to do it right then and there and 2) it gives my daughter bonus points for "pre-bookings" in case of reviews and contests.
oh shit I just heard from my folks that my sister-in-law's sister's 4-month old baby boy just died today. They don't know the cause. She put down in his crib, went away, and came back a little while later and he was gone. Fucking universe.
