Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

Sundays just seem like wash days to me.

Herding cats for fun

So happy to hear that the Blanket is keeping Stephanie warm and Ellie amused at the same time. Now that's the way for a fuzzy inanimate object to multitask.

I had a cat who was crazy for asparagus and could eat 4 stalks at a sitting.

Jess, could you call up and set up an appointment with her for whenever-from-now-you'll-be-needing one by calling *today*? I guess I figure it's slightly less weird if they can just glance down at the appointment book from today and see who you were with? Otherwise, you'll just have to stalk the place and walk in and say hi to her and ask when she's got appointments, and ask for her card then.

Also: Cass, WTF kind of school is your niece at??

And, I just spent an hour and a half on the phone trying to figure out what the hell to say to my umfriend in Minneapolis. She'd wanted me to go out there in March, and I decided it didn't seem like a good idea, and we're trying to figure out what the hell we're doing anyway. I'm pretty firmly on the "I don't want to date someone in Minnesota" stance, with a side of "and therefore maybe doing anythign else with you isn't a good idea either". But I think she's a little more on the "Long distance sucks, but I like you and what the heck is the problem with doing something which we don't call dating?". Sigh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cass, I am glad you got to talk to your niecelet.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jess, could you call up and set up an appointment with her for whenever-from-now-you'll-be-needing one by calling *today*?

I think they're closed by now, but I'll probably call again tomorrow and ask them to spell her name for me. It's generally months between haircuts for me, so setting up another appointment would be weird.
