When s/he starts threatening to climb out and fall on his/her head
Too bad about the "and," as Mallory has "falling on head" covered.
And then toddler bed? Or actual bed, with side rails?
Having a cat is SO much simpler.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, can someone Nilly me the beth haircut? I missed it!
In omgI'mbecomingdomestic news, I have now cooked two meals in a row. Last night I made filet mignon in roasted pepper vinigrette with fresh peppers and fresh dill sliced and sauted (sorry, too lazy to HTML the accent) and a fresh lettuce, soy bean, grape tomato, and sliced pepper salad. This morning I made an egg scramble with sliced grape tomatoes and fresh dill with organic hickory-smoked bacon and sliced bananas.
I hope ND isn't going to get used to this...
Actually, the reason why I'm doing this is less fun. I've been put on a two week strict low-carb diet to get my blood sugar regulated and to get my system back in whack. It's all screwy right now, which my chiro thinks is contributing to my severe back pain. Sooo...since it's next to impossible to avoid all complex carbs in a restuarant, I'm cooking at home these next couple of weeks.
On the up-side, it appears that I can cook.
my cold has reached the stage where opening up my head and scooping out the insides would give me the most relief. My nose is way to small to deal with the drainage needs
What worked really well for us was putting a mattress on the floor. You can't roll off a mattress. Once the kid can reliably sleep on a mattress, go to a bed. Toddler beds are really cute (we bought one), but a twin with a rail will do fine.
Cute 'do, Beth!

We did that with Bobby and it worked great. With Brendon we had a single waterbed with the old style box frame and it sat on the floor. He loved it.
Mmmm I think I should show up at Kristin's for breakfast.
I'm at work. So much to do. sigh
{{sj}} I'm 5'5" and I've done the bar stool thing. Tricky they are.
I do the barstool thing nearly every time I go out. And that's before I even have anything to drink. I'm a total klutz with them.
When you are 4' 10" getting on and off of bar stools can be very difficult.
I can only imagine and I'm sorry it happened at all but especially sorry it happened when it did. {{sj}} Do I need to remind Teacup Guy that he's under strict instructions not to let anything bad or remotely humiliating happen to you when you're in his care? Hmph! (Not that you can't take care of yourself. You can and do, quite well.)
My cat Ashton refuses to eat anything out my hand but has no problem stealthily sitting behind me on the couch and attempting to snatch food off of my fork when it's on the way to my mouth.
I did that the night I met my husband, sj. Though I should probably blame the beer rather than just my height. In any case, the embarassment was short-lived, as I'm sure yours will also prove to be.
