I backed out of Comic-Con today because we got such a late start this morning (we were at screenings yesterday from 11 am until 11 pm), so instead I have a hair appointment at 3. I so feel your pain. I had exactly this experience the last time I went. I ended up with a haircut that I like, but it's hardly what I was going for.
I had a Russian Blue who would eat watermelon, frantically, like a jonesing junkie.
My Russian Blue (ish--he's a mutt cat, but he looks like a RB) just wants to eat constantly. I call him the furry grey stomach.

My sister's cat loves melon. He'll pull rinds out of the compost pile.
Yesterday I discovered that my picky cat who won't even eat tuna salad will lick ice cream off my plate, given the chance.

One of the cats likes yeasty things here. Found a ziplock of friendship bread broken into on th counter one time, and we no longer leave loaves of bread within reach after another.
I think it was Harvey, but we didn't see him.

When s/he starts threatening to climb out and fall on his/her head. Alternatively, when you're expecting the second kid: you want to separate the crib/bed transition from the only child/eldest transition so that the kid won't blame the baby for taking over the crib.
