Damn, that's gorgeous, Connie!

Thank you! Anything with actual pictures someone else made, I'm just assembling the bits.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm beginning to see where all the Starsky and Hutch fic comes from.

Have you seen some of the vids? Even allowing for the slashy bias of the fandom, that show looks damn gay.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Based on my scientific sample of three eps so far, oh yeah. This show could teach Smallville about Teh Gay.

The first scene I caught had one of them getting pissy because the other claimed not to have gotten him a Christmas present. He was just pretending, though, cause he would never, ever do that.

Always Anti-fascist!

God, even FrankenTim never argued about that.

Back in the 70s, the MAD Magazine spoof of the show ended with Starsky and Hutch being split up as a team at the request of Anita Bryant.

that show looks damn gay.

t has very, very fond memories You knew that no matter what girls traipsed across the screen, at the end of the day it'd be Starsky and Hutch together. And the hurt/comfort eps are just terrific. I remember all sorts of articles talking about how innovative it was to have two tough guy cops caring about each other. Ah, back in the day.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

BLESS.

Connie, your website is a thing of loveliness. And, oh, it SO takes me back to the moment when we started talking about 'hey, what if Giles got vamped...?' And you were all with the writing, and we were all with the 'and then there'll be Spike/Giles!' and you were all 'NO WAY!'

And now look at you!

Ah, the foolish days of youth, when I just didn't understand the appeal of slash. Now I see the darned stuff everywhere and keep feeling my jaw drop when I watch old TV shows and see all the innuendos I missed.

This isn't fanfiction, but I'm half way through "Ship of Magic." I've got all three books and forcing myself not to grab "Ship of Destiny" to see if Kyle gets a clue/kicked in the butt, if that poor boy gets to go back to his monastery, and if Kennit gets a clue/kicked in the butt.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Having seen almost every episode of Starsky & Hutch, all I can say is that I only hope future shows will be quite as gay as they were. Also, I am sailing through season four of Homicide, and the Frankentim is still so there that I'm... very very happy.
