Ah, the foolish days of youth, when I just didn't understand the appeal of slash. Now I see the darned stuff everywhere and keep feeling my jaw drop when I watch old TV shows and see all the innuendos I missed.
This isn't fanfiction, but I'm half way through "Ship of Magic." I've got all three books and forcing myself not to grab "Ship of Destiny" to see if Kyle gets a clue/kicked in the butt, if that poor boy gets to go back to his monastery, and if Kennit gets a clue/kicked in the butt.

Having seen almost every episode of Starsky & Hutch, all I can say is that I only hope future shows will be quite as gay as they were. Also, I am sailing through season four of Homicide, and the Frankentim is still so there that I'm... very very happy.
Kyle Secor once called Frank Pembleton the "great love of Bayliss' life."
Braugher said "Don't go there." though.
I'm through the first disc of Homicide season 4. Bayliss looks awfully good. Not that he wasn't cute before, but he's less of a babyface now. Maybe it's the haircut.
Yeah, that one was really perfect. In the next season he let it get too short, though, to spend less time in the hair chair. It was...unfortunate, unless Balmer was overtaken by lice. Really brought out my latent Karen Walker. "Honey! No! What's this about?"
He was still cute, but in a rather penitent sort of way.
I love the season 4 of H:LotS. Personally, I think Bayliss was in his hottest evah between Sniper 2 parter and Requiem for Adena. OMG so much angst. He's so pretty in his pain, it hurts to look at him.
Oh the sniper episode. One of those wonderful scriptwriter moments, where we'd known all along Bayliss had transferred to Homicide from the Mayor's security detail, but they fleshed out that one factoid with backstory that illuminated the episode at hand.
Actually, for me, the best part of that episode was that he was totally stoned during his monologue (to Russert, IIRC), and had no idea to what he was really confessing.
"so pretty in his pain it hurts to look at him" as perfect a description of Baylust as I ever saw.I'd rather watch him have a bad day than somebody else have a good day.(That sniper thing was going to be Angel crossover because that insurance man was so Fred-freed-from Pylea but I ran out of time to write it.)
Yeah. Too many muscle relaxants, Timmy.

Heh. It's cribbed from Angela Chase in MSCL, but thanks. Poor Tim. He shoulda just stayed in the Mayor's security detail.
I love love LOVE Tim's drugged monologue from The Sniper. I should do a S4 marathon one of these days. Man, so many DVDs, so little time.
