Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

I want to start posting some of my longer fic over at LJ. Is there a word or character limit to posts?

Yes, there is a word/character limit. The maximum post length allowed by LiveJournal is 65,535 bytes or characters.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Anne, I find that a link to the story on my LJ page works as well as anything.

If I only had a brain...

Read my lips: No. More. Tongue. Duels. Unless there are actual tongue-swords or tongue-guns.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

In an "oh, dear" category (taken from one of the fic LJs):

I'm a beta looking for authors :) If anyone happens to need an editor, I like editing, and I am a stickler for grammer/spelling/proper usage of words.

God knows I suck at spelling and grammar, so far be it for me to point a finger, but I would think that if you're writing a post *offering* your service as a beta, the least you can do is to spellcheck your post.

Oh, yes. Absolutely.

Vonnie, I feel your pain.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, the misspelling of "grammar" gets me every time. It's like irony from on high.

In other news, why is SGA having a flamewar over Rodney? And why is it slopping over onto my flist? Go away! Shoo!

I didn't know about it, then I saw something at Merry's LJ (which was about something else), then made a mistake of following the trail and... oy.

I like SGA and all, but when did it stop being a cute and kind of awkward yet promising sister show to SG-1 and get itself transformed to this year's Smallville?
