S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

It seemed like a reasonable response to the situation. I take it others didn't have similar thought progressions.

I think most people saw how well it turned out last year, especially with regards to quality of fic and participation. Now Yuletide is this brilliant, huge archive of 800+ stories, and people are more willing to be a part of something this successful and cool, even if it's stressful.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Ahahahaha! DCU/The O.C. crossover fic! Kid Flash/Seth.

Ah, the crack. Sometimes it comes personally engraved.

I posted fic today! Stargate apocafic with lots of angst and death and a small amount of sex. Don't all trample me on your way to read Thunder Follow Me... *grin*

Up with the sun

Has anyone ever written Buffy/Spider-Man (filmverse) crossovers? I was thinking about reluctant, snarky heroes this morning.

Spider-Man is what led to my love of Buffy, because she quips just like he does. And she didn't ask for her super-powers, just like him! And she fights on the side of good, rather than exploiting her powers for evil, just like him!

....you can see why I got so excited.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Steph, thanks for the link to the DCU/OC crossover! I've been looking for OC fic, and that one was lots of fun.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I haven't had the chance to read lots of excellent stories that came out during the holiday (yuletide fic with all those treasures! Just waiting to be read!), but I stole some time just now to read the little challenge-vignettes written by my friend minnow, and wow, these are GOOD.

A Stargate SG-1 fic, Sam and Daniel, lost. I love this Sam.

Gaudet: Joan of Arcadia. Kevin, Christamas over the years.

A Charlie-fic, Lost: Gorgeous stuff.

Oh, Suela, I'm reading your Jack O'Neill 5 non-holidays, and God, you are MEAN to my darling Jack. (And you wrote Jack/Harry! OMG! So evil.)

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

She's mean. Poor Jack.

Oh, c'mon, it's a Five Things! They're supposed to be angsty. Besides, I'll never cause as much heartache as Shrift, when she did her Five Things That Never Happened to Dan Rydell. That absolutely killed me. And inspired me.

Besides, the last one is happy. As is the first one, even though he doesn't know it.
