Definitly read Goodnight Moon, at the end I was crying.
Also the Yuletide challenge produced two Winnie the Pooh stories, both Eyeorecentric which were very very good. Nice, sweet, G rated gen stories.
You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Someone wrote a kickass Bertie and Wooster story which also has Lord Peter Wimsey in it. It's absolutely fabulous, however sadly unfinished. The writer swears she'll finish it soon.
There's a ton of good stuff written for the Yuletide challenge this year, I'm really impressed.

It's kind of nice this year, for me. I can't obsessively check livejournal because I'm not home much, and the story I wrote is for a fandom that apparently flies under the radar of most participants, so I don't have to see people mentioning it with the snotty "this isn't rare!" commentary I got to read last year.
Come to think of it, I'm surprised I didn't have more reservations about participating this year...
On edit: I think Yuletide is awesome, and my recipient liked her story, so I'm all content and stuff, despite the incredibly self-centered nature of the above post. Huh.
