A weird assortment of things. I'd requested either NCIS (straighforward cop show), Alice 19th (manga), or Millennium (spooky cop drama). I'm sure one of the pinch-hitters will do a nice job of stepping up to the plate, though. It's just annoying to have to wait.
Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Alas, I know nothing about the above fandoms, else I'd have a crack myself. Bugger.
Anne, I was pretty sure I saw NCIS being offered up during the pinch-hit auction, and now I'm seeing a story that looks like it's for you on the archive.
And now, post-yuletide, comes the post-yuletide neuroses! Whoo.
I haven't had a chance to read anything yet, though. "Work" will be fun tomorrow.

I just saw it there this morning. Apparently, it didn't upload correctly or something the first time around. Anyhow, I read it and enjoyed it very much.

Hell yes. I keep looking to see if anyone is reccing my fic in LJ. Please tell me that I'm not the only one who's being so vain and insecure.
Ha! No, of course not. We're all just that vain and insecure. Well, there might be someone out there who isn't, but frankly they're in the minority.
Even better, my recipient hasn't posted a comment yet. She hates it!

Yup. I posed the conclusion to a big story on LJ, didn't get any comments for 12 hours, and was ready to convert to Catholicism and join one of the cloistered orders.
I did get a comment from my recipient, and she was quite pleased, so that's the important bit.
Also, I kind of want to go in and fix the formatting of my fic.

Heh. I had that reaction too - I went and checked my recipient's LJ and I think she's left for holidays in Mexico. Thank god some other generous soul commented on the story, or I'd be sitting in a corner ready to eat worms.
