God, I'm so naturally conservative. Dammit, slash had a perfectly good definition! Come up with your own word!
Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Oh, goodness. Excerpts from yet a different LFN writer:
Nikita turned off the bathroom light and entered the bedroom. She was wearing the À la Vie! t-shirt. He knew she would be.
See, Roy Dupuis tends to write "A la vie" when signing autographs...no, I don't know what it's doing on a t-shirt.
She reached out her left hand tentatively and gently grasped his shaft. “It’s soft!” she said in surprise. She was referring to the texture, not the physical properties, because Petit Michel was quickly growing hard as a rock.
Petit Michel.
He pressed the head of his erection through the barrier to her womanhood. God, she was tight!
Nikita felt like a volcano ready to erupt. She’d read about people having orgasms, but were they supposed to be this intense? She felt like she was on the verge of falling, and she wanted to leap.
You know, I've gotta say, the immediate runup to orgasm is not a time when I personally am prone to the use of thoughtful metaphor. Or silly metaphor, for that matter.
t not really here Now I have the desire to find a fandom and character where I can write "s/he came like a volcano" and have it be plausible. t /not really here
Anime, maybe?

Dude, just check out the early issues of Superboy, when he was still on Hawaii and not yet given the name Kon. At least one or two characters in there that would do it.
The only anime I know is Yami no Matsuei. (But I think Tsuzuki's more likely to arrive like a volcano...)
Kon could work. Of course, this is all hypothetical, because -- Yuletide first. Yes.

I'm sorry to say, I'm not imagining plausible, more deeply ironic. Historical RPS set in Pompey, for example. Alas, my brain she must be scrubbed again!
For those writers on lj, a new community where you can ask those nagging questions of what's possible and what can I get away with. Looks like it could be very useful.

Replace 'Historical RPS' with 'Highlander', and Bob's your uncle! (Oh dear. Now the Methos in my head is laughing uproariously.)
