Plus good Stargate: "The Good Wife" is a great read.
So Salieri posted an encomium to her new picture of Jack. (Which is, in fact, gorgeous -- both the picture and the essay.) And I ended up somehow writing a story to go along with the picture. Set post-Lost City, no spoilers. No angst, either, oddly enough.
Here's a link straight to the encomium. Damn, she can do the word thing.
She can indeed. Want to eat her braaaanesssss.
Suela's story is also gorgeous.

Did I say I loved your Mal/Simon story? I think I did. Puppies! I loved Jayne and the puppies the best.
I grew up with Lhasa Apsos, and they're a lot like Shih Tzus, and the puppies are the most adorable critters ever: little roly furballs. So cute. The image of Jayne and Mal dealing with the puppies is just priceless.
You did, thank you.
The image of the whole crew with puppies was too much to resist, once it popped into my head.
That just made my entire day.
So Maayan has given up on Stargate, declared an amnesty, and posted two unfinished stories. Because it's Maayan, they're significantly better than 95% of what's out there, even though unfinished. Well worth the read, if you're interested.
Gethsamane Confidential is Sam and Daniel on the run.
World Without Milk (and part 2) is a Farscape/Stargate crossover, which promised to be epic and fascinating. What happens when Anubis turns his attention to the Uncharted Territories? It's all Crichton, Daniel, and Jacob. Guest appearance by Jool near the end. Unfinished, likely to remain so, but you can see the framework for something fascinating, and the writing shines.
And now she's off to the Potterverse, which frustrates me. Ah, well. I'll read it anyway, in all likelihood.
My eyes have actually begun to glaze over every time I glance at a new chapter of the golf cart story, but:
The pants fit him perfectly, hugging every muscled thigh
Okay, if he has more than two, they should have been a little more careful with that post-apocalyptic radiation.
