Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think you're never going to be done, Dana.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

The Holocaust? Wait, are you still talking about whether slash is a fetish?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You betcha. She's feeling persecuted and defended herself by saying she supports gay rights and lectures on the Holocaust.

I don't think that counts as a Godwin's Law violation, does it? I think there has to be an explicit Nazi-comparison.

Oh, God, there's a Godwin's Law FAQ. Hee. (And according to the FAQ, I'm wrong, alas.)

Even better:

Case's Corollary to the Law states "if the subject is Heinlein or homosexuality, the probability of a Hitler/Nazi comparison being made becomes equal to one"

Hee.

Case's Corollary to the Law states "if the subject is Heinlein or homosexuality, the probability of a Hitler/Nazi comparison being made becomes equal to one" - but that's just an old list. Abortion and gun control debates always lead to Nazi comparisons; talk with a Libertarian for more than a few hours and he'll almost certainly bring up Nazis; book-burning is pretty much considered a sub-topic of Nazism at this point. Hell, talk about anything politically related and you'll eventually get there.

Now that makes Buffistas look good.

Or more likely to grab "fascist" from the political bag than Nazi.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

If she's complained that the people she's arguing with are all like the mean girls in high school, you get to invoke Snacky's Law, as well.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

This almost makes me want to go goad her into doing so. Not actually, but almost.
