So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Pretty short. Definitely doable in a quick read if you're short of time, but rewards going back over and over to savor it.

Cripes. Do I read now, or wait until I get home, where I can wallow in it?

FEH!

PS, if you haven't checked Livia's LJ today, you should. Two stories, short, one NW, one Outsiders.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Both. That's what I'm saying.

Ooh, yes. And the Indy/Shift was fantastically fun. (What did we do to deserve such a good day of fic?)

And Te wrote some JL post-"Starcrossed" Bruce/Clark that made me squee, too.

I have no clue, but I think I've read something like four outstanding things today, three of them before breakfast.

It's amazing.

And the Indy/Shift was fantastically fun.

I really, really need to stop reading this as Shrift now that I'm finding good Shift fic.

I really need to stop typing it that way. I mean, I love Shrift even more than Shift, but RPSing people I know just so isn't my thing.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Lots of good fic posted this week.

Here's one of them. Stargate, end of the world, post-Lost City. Fabulous dialog. Jack and Daniel and ice.

I need to track down all the Day After Tomorrow challenge stories, see what's good.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Destina and Hal posted their J/D ficathon entries today, as well.
