I'm kind of psyched about going. My first con evah!

Really? Wow. It's been so long since my first con... But the good thing is that VividCon is small, it's fascinating, it's eye-candy and brain-candy, and there are hours of vids to watch even if you don't know anyone. (But you've got Buffistas coming, so you don't need to worry about that. Seriously.)

I had a great time last year even though I went at the last minute. And the premiere show broke my brain, it was so good.

Oh yes. She's the one who poked me into remembering that we had to make travel arrangements. However, I'm not letting Dana poke me into bringing down quite as much stuff as I brought to the first Buffista F2F.

I just suggested a VCR. I didn't know our room would become Viewing Central.

But hey, the hotel rooms have VCRs, so we're covered.

Well, I'm gonna be bringing my laptop, which has got the DVD player, so if I wanted to pimp my shows to people I probably could.

Err, on the other hand, I'm not packing 6 seasons of Stargate SG-1 DVD sets, 'cause you know, not entirely crazy.

OK, OK, I'll behave. I'll probably bring my Firefly DVDs, just because. Debating bringing H:LotS--season 5 may be out by then.

Packing for that trip is gonna be tricky.

If anything could have hooked me, it would have been all the most excellent Stargate: SG-1 vids I have seen at Escapade and VividCon.

No joy.

But if you bring your laptop, I'll bring my vids on DVD -- which I think are Escapade 2003, VividCon 2003, and the WOAD Society 3-disc set.

Oh, the Woad society set! SO marvelous. I need to watch them again and send feedback, and give them back to Laura. But they're so great!

This year I'm totally getting the Vividcon dvds.
