So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Still think Roy looks like AFLAC after a bad Sun-In experiment. Galloping slash potential aside.

You have *read* 11, yes? With the straddle, and the gun, and the GUH?

I mean, you've got a recovering addict with serious issues, some messy love history, and a megaboycrush on Dick. What's not to like?

If you can get beyond the AFLAC. Just picture him being played by a youngish Eric Stoltz or something.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

AFLAC? Now I'm picturing a goose, and not so much seeing the slash. Though I imagine Dana's "writer" could do something with it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well, yeah. Hence the galloping slash potential. And you know, galloping slash actuality. Dayum.

(And while we're at it, how much do I love that Roy has a kid? THIS MUCH.)

Hey. New board.

I'm sorry, but I just can't figure it out from context. Anybody wanna give me a concise definition of "wooby"? I assume "woobies" and "woobification" both come from this root word, so it would be helpful for me.

(Also picturing Dick and Roy right now, AIFG.)

Plei, I'm serious that Te and I have been batting Dick/Roy ideas around for weeks and weeks. So although I elected to go out and get drunk on Cinco de Mayo instead of finishing the first draft of this Spanderficathon story, don't let that discourage you from hounding me (or co-writing with me) about the Dick/Roy. 'Cause mmmyeah.

Now I'm off to read the really hot Grace/Anissa, which I encouraged at full-force. 'Cause Te femslash? Mmmyeah!

Who's Roy? And who are Grace and Anissa?

Um, will. Try. All three characters appear in the current run of "The Outsiders" DC comic. Roy is Roy Harper, who is also "Arsenal". He used to be "Speedy". He was one of the Teen Titans back when Dick (aka Dick Grayson, "Robin" and now "Nightwing") was in charge. (Roy recently shaved his long auburn hair, so now he has a buzz cut.) Dick and Roy have known and worked with each other for years.

Grace is a seven foot tall eurasian meta-human with red hair and a definite attitude. She's sleeping with Roy, but their relationship isn't exclusive. She's big, hella strong, headstrong, pretty, and horny.

Anissa is the daughter of the former crimefighter "Black Lightning". She waited until she graduated from college to join the Outsiders. She's pretty, she's black, and she can change her weight/mass whenever she wants to. She's a rookie, but she ain't stupid.

"The Outsiders" is a DC comic. It's kind of a twenty-something crime task force.

I thought Dick was a cop in Bludhaven these days. (see, I do at least know something about the Bat-verse.)

I thought Dick was a cop in Bludhaven these days. (see, I do at least know something about the Bat-verse.)

He was until recently. He was found out as the vigilante Nightwing by his partner, despite his best efforts.

Roy convinced Nightwing to lead The Outsiders anyway, possibly because Roy is hella cute. Also, because Dick needs to belong somewhere, but hey. (This is where my brain decides to do Bruce'n'Dick4Evah!!!!!!!!1!"
