So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So, I was B Diving, and found myself saying

PMM: There's HP/WWF Fic.
While it doesn't squick me, it does confuse me.

Quidditch smackdowns?

Anyone happen to know WHERE I found it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

does anyone know of any good Space: Above and Beyond fic?

Every once in a while, I have a hankering.

You're not the only one.

I think most of what I've seen has been McQueen/Cooper, and maybe a little West/Cooper. But it's been ages. Are you looking for something specific?

(And crap, what the hell was that character's full name? Cooper...Hawkes?)

Like I need a hole in my head

Dana, at this point, I suspect there isn't going to be any of what I'm looking for, which is pretty-close-to-canon-almost-feels-like-a-missing-ep fic.

So I'd be happy with some good character pieces, vignettes, what have you.

And yes, he was Cooper Hawkes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My goodness, there actually is a virtual season.

(An aside: has any virtual season ever been any good? All of the ones I've seen...to put it politely...have kind of sucked.)

Also looks like an archive here. Large pile of links here.

I know I've seen some fic by authors whose names are actually familiar to me, but I'm not brave enough to check Minotaur's Slash Database while I'm at work. You might try a search there, though.

This probably isn't that helpful, alas. You might need to wait for the next yuletide challenge to roll around.

A virtual season? And it only has one ep!

(I can't think of any that have been good, no. XF has had a few good "eps" from their virtual seasons, but that was more on the strength of the writers than anything that had to do with the virtual season itself.)

I've been digging through that archive, but haven't found too much good stuff. And that links page, oh nostalgia! I remember reading all those stories back in, like, 97, when I was first looking for SAAB fic.

Thanks for the help, Dana. Maybe I'll have to write some myself. *g*

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Anna S.'s Season Noir is *excellent,* though I'm not the biggest Spuffy fan. But that's Buffy-- did you mean for Space: Above and Beyond, or in general?

Up with the sun

There was a MSCL virtual season that I thought was pretty good, though it did get melodramatic as it went on. Unfortunately, I read it back in '97 or so and can no longer remember the author's name, if it's even still online.

t grump

I've already written three Yuletide stories and will possibly write more. Is it too much to ask for somebody to write me a damn Space: Above and Beyond story?

I have found it. I have also, accidentally, exported it to Excel. Which I think is going to crash my computer. Let this be a cautionary example to you all.
