Dana, all I can say is that your yaoi "expert" is about as on-target as most slash "experts" who end up talking to the media. It also sounds as if he (or she) has some issues.
Yeah, I thought it sounded kind of weird. It was a she, by the way.

Yep. Yaoi fans are little girls who like the gay because they're afraid of their own sexuality. Slash fans are no-life internet freaks who like the gay because they're afraid of their own sexuality. Same old, same old.
(Yeah. I always wondered, about such arguments, why anyone afraid of sexuality would get into, you know, the gay. There is the procedural and the "canon-compliant" characters stuck in the Triassic Period and the amazing adventure and the evil empire of giant cats, for people who can't handle sexuality. Okay, some of those involved sexuality, but you get my meaning.)
Nothing to get one's fur shorts in a twist about.
Is there any consensus on Connor being 'Steven' or 'Stephen' to Holtz?
Stephen feels like an older spelling to me, Elena.
Stephen feels like an older spelling to me, Elena
I'd probably go with it for that reason myself, but season three shooting scripts (I checked "A New World," "Benediction" and "Tomorrow") all use Steven.
I've been using Stephen - but I wasn't sure.
Huh. Scripts say it's "Steven".
Edit: And I knew that was going to be a x-post.
If the scripts say Steven, then Steven I will use. Thanks everyone.
From the Greek God writer, who has moved on to another story which seems to involve the Antiques Roadshow:
The Prince stepped unto the airplane with a new spry on his gait, although he’d been depressed for a couple of weeks his patented strut remained evident and now he had added purpose to his movements, he was after all a man on a mission. No one strutted like Prince Michael, his walk melted hearts and the fact that the tight little ass capped the attractive package while one watched him walk away, didn’t hurt - the man was poetry in motion.
Yes, the phrase "tight little ass" screams "poetry" to me.
The stewardess approached Michael, did a little curtsey and asked, “Is there anything I can do for Your Royal Highness?”
The intent of the question was clear, her enormous knockers spilling sexily from the uniform in an ‘in your face’ fashion. Michael thought as he busily tried to ignore the woman’s bosoms, how his mother, the Queen would feel if she saw this getup and smiled politely purposely removing his green gaze from the cleavage and plastering it on her face.
"enormous knockers" -- I can't take any more poetry.
Michael started to move away forgetting the water and the analgesics when Lisa turned slamming her body against the Royal one. She held his face and kissed him hard, reaching unequivocally for the perfect bulge inside the Royal trousers and taking him to the brink of ‘relaxation’.
I'm really afraid of the upcoming sex scenes, given her fondness for calling everything "Royal".
Madeline held his hand and guided him to their room, no one even looked up as the Monarchs entered their private abode, closed the door and turned off the lights. King Paul was heard laughing as Queen Madeline showed him what ‘retirement’ would bring. Even after all these years the arranged marriage thrived, Paul only hoped that Michael’s destiny would proof to be just half as wonderful as his had been so far.
“Poor Michael, he better hurry up and get his stuff together, I want to do this a lot.” Madeline was heard saying as Paul’s grunts echoed in the cavernous room. “Yes, yes, yes.”
Apparently if you're not Michael and Nikita, you don't get the poetry.
Also, she places the "kingdom" in the "Perrinies Mountain Range" and then adds a note at the bottom:
*I am making this whole place up.”
