I told my new writer friend I did that...wrote him smut, too. *Now* he has a problem with it. Guess who's never getting any Faith again...maybe if he begs. I like it when they beg. He tells me it's a crutch...next time I'll remind him that for me, a crutch is a step up.

Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Can I play?
Just the simple blue envelope would raise the hackles on the back of his neck.
A yellow one, by contrast, would raise the hackles on his flippers.
He never knew what to expect when he cut through the seal.
Other than a papal bull or some royal writ from the Middle Ages.
This time; however, it was just a simple message...
The punctuational! Equivalent to, a. Twister; game.
Does anyone still post stuff on fanfiction.net?
One of the things that irks me about ff.net is that it tells you that you have new reviews, but you can't see those reviews for hours and hours after you know they've been posted. Bleah.
I don't. Too much trouble, between the performance problems they used to have (don't know if that's still the case), the ads, and the restriction on adult content.
Except wait, my Gilmore Girls stuff is up there. Because I am a whore.
I never have. It just seems like too big a hassle. I pretty much only archive at BFA. Some of my stuff is also in character-specific archives, but mostly I'm too lazy.
I post there out of habit, mostly, and because it's the one archive I can think of that will accept Angel, CSI, and Sailor Moon.

Glass Onion and Silverlake.
Glass Onion and Silverlake.
Can anyone post to those archives? I always thought they were ... not exactly invitation-only, but more for name writers.
I post at ff.net, and I've never had any trouble getting to the reviews. Maybe I don't check my email often enough. The Career Changes series and a couple of other things are the only stories up there, but I plan to put Career Advancement up there, too. If nothing else, I love reading the reviews of the people who just. don't. get. it. And the ones who say "Sequel!" for something that's obviously a stand alone.
I shouldn't say "obviously." I never thought "Steam" would get a sequel, but enough people asked for one that I caved to my audience. I'm such a whore.
I'm not on Silverlake, but as far as I know, it's exactly like Glass Onion. All you have to do is be on the mailing list.
