Some of you will be aware of this already, but for those who've missed it: a round-robin project on lj is looking for writers. This isn't any old round-robin, though. It's an AU story to Lust Over Pendle, in which no buyer comes forward for any of Malfoy Manor, and Draco and Neville are forced to look for other ways of raising money-- such as writing a screenplay for the potential BBC Buffy spin-off, Ripper.
This means we need talented Buffy and HP writers (but since I've already written some, it should be clear that "not a lot of talent" will do). Community info here, project explained better than I can (ie. by A.J. Hall) here, and lists of Things Done and Things To Do here.
Come and join in. You know you want to.

I stumbled across this challenge while checking a CSI fic archive.
Given that it's a T.S. Eliot based challenge, I'm hoping for a lot of good, twisty, dark fic to come out of this thing.
That looks interesting, Anne. But I already have so many challenges on my plate (I think six by the end of April) that I'm skipping the Angel femslash-a-thon. And I really want to make someone write Harmony/Eve, pre-Home, because I am evil and wrong.

I'm almost tempted, but Grissom scares me, and I'm not sure I know the others well enough to even think about writing them.
The Eliot tempts me a lot, but I have never watched CSI.
I have, but maybe six times. Not enough to fic it.
Gah. I just signed up. Anne, you wanna beta me, since none of my usual suspects watch the show?
I'd be glad to, Dana. I look forward to seeing your take on the show.
Oh, what fun it is, to have someone read the first three paragraphs of a story with some very complicated characterization and announce that it's "out of character" because the choice the character makes would "spit on her love".
Because we all know that every decision is all about twue wuv, and life is simple, and there are no difficult moral questions or shades of grey in storytelling or real life.
Is there a way to filter only for smart readers?
Oh, dear. What story was this about? The Casablanca fic?
