Just finished The Kindly Ones. Lovely as ever, but she does have the habit of assuming you've caught every nuance of everything that's happened, and her dialogue isn't always clearly attributed. Oh, and her habit of revealing handy and unlikely relatives is still present. Still, I wish she'd go back and show what Draco did to those "psychologists" who played with Neville's mind.

Dude. My beverage is in my nasal cavity now, thanks a bunch.
Some of you will be aware of this already, but for those who've missed it: a round-robin project on lj is looking for writers. This isn't any old round-robin, though. It's an AU story to Lust Over Pendle, in which no buyer comes forward for any of Malfoy Manor, and Draco and Neville are forced to look for other ways of raising money-- such as writing a screenplay for the potential BBC Buffy spin-off, Ripper.
This means we need talented Buffy and HP writers (but since I've already written some, it should be clear that "not a lot of talent" will do). Community info here, project explained better than I can (ie. by A.J. Hall) here, and lists of Things Done and Things To Do here.
Come and join in. You know you want to.

I stumbled across this challenge while checking a CSI fic archive.
Given that it's a T.S. Eliot based challenge, I'm hoping for a lot of good, twisty, dark fic to come out of this thing.
That looks interesting, Anne. But I already have so many challenges on my plate (I think six by the end of April) that I'm skipping the Angel femslash-a-thon. And I really want to make someone write Harmony/Eve, pre-Home, because I am evil and wrong.

I'm almost tempted, but Grissom scares me, and I'm not sure I know the others well enough to even think about writing them.
The Eliot tempts me a lot, but I have never watched CSI.
I have, but maybe six times. Not enough to fic it.
Gah. I just signed up. Anne, you wanna beta me, since none of my usual suspects watch the show?
