It's the twisted anti-hero thing, though CSM has more of the fallen hero angst than Scorpy does. CSM used to believe in something noble then realized that "good" goals required evil acts. I could go on and on. I used to in the X-files threads.
Fay, you have to remember I have a thing for badfic. I used to stay up late and watch really really bad sci fi shows. Not to mention when watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 I'd sometimes get annoyed with the snarking at the movie if the movie was really interesting in a "god this is bad...what happens next?" kind of way.
In LJ circle, there was this meme going around like a virus; Name 7 fictional or real life people you'd shag without hesitation. One of my LJ buddy (a devoted Scaper) named Scorpius.
I mean, OK. There's the leather, the intelligence and that killer voice. But did ya see that episode where Scorpy had sex with the Eyeball Lady? Duuude.

You know what it is with Scorpy -- it's the fact that he and John are so closely linked, their obsession with the wormholes. Just one wrong turn into an unrealized reality, and each of them could be the other. It's a Javert/Jean Valjean thing.

Gack. No, my appreciation of Scorpy is not not NOT sexual. My Farscape oost is reserved for Chiana and John.

Okay, I'm reading the Krychek Water Baby story...and my god....this is...almost so bad it's funny but not quite. It's---this should be a parody, or the writer's idea of a joke, but it's written with such sincerity.
