brillig

Transfigurations is sitting on my Palm right now, and my only quibble is I've already read it seven times so a titch of the glow is gone. I find myself jumping to certain scenes, Draco's sudden problem with how his clothes work, the bit Dana whitefonted, finding out just who Sunday is--I even liked Ron in it, and he tends to be a bit of a goober.

It really sucks when you have certain fics that are long enough and meaty enough to really hold your attention, and you start reading holes in them because there's nothing else that's really as good.

But "Draco Malfoy the Amazing Bouncing ... Rat?" has some parts that are just too hysterical to miss. "I warn you, I shan't sleep a wink" or "Longbottom, different, less fatal coffee." Snerk.

Sigh. There needs to be so much more good fic in the world.

Thanks for all the fish.

There needs to be more good period.

More good movies.

More good books.

More good television.

Actually, no, that's not entirely accurate. There needs to be less crap.

Er. So, say someone started randomly e-mailing me links to her stories, complete with header info, but nothing else to indicate exactly why she's e-mailing me.

I'm not in the fandom, I only lurk on some fic lists, and I have no idea who this person is.

I'm very confused. The only thing I can think is that she wants me to recommend her at Polyamorous, or something.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hee. What fandom?

It's kind of nice being the one this doesn't happen to.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh. My.

I've been snerking about the fandom since Gwyn R made her latest post on writing this morning.

Poor you.

I'm puzzled. And bemused. And confused.

It's kind of nice being the one this doesn't happen to.

This makes me want to wage a campaign to prove once and for all that I'm just your sockpuppet.
