Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

because I'm a mod there now.

Yeah, I noticed that. I had the urge to grab you and shake you very hard, but I was sick that day and made a note to do it later....

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, are there any Spred stories involving Phantom Spike and his ability to be more solid in some places than in others?

Also, any good Darla stories that go into what she was upto between China in 1900 and Sunnydale in 1997?

And Mother Clap's Molly House is the book that Diana Gabaldon cites as being very helpful to her in writing Lord John and the Private Matter.

I'm thinking that people interested in writing early Angelus slash might be find it useful too.

I still think it could be a great resource, if a few smart people a week rec'd what they'd read and liked in recent times.

I'll try to give it a whirl, Plei. My recs always get shot down, but hey! I've taken worse hits for the team.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Heh. My first thought after "oh, Spike's a ghost" was "damn, the slashers are going to be pissed off, what with all the extra work they're going to have to go through now..."

I've been seeking the Slash the Make Me Happy to rec. Dark things. Nasty things. Things where bad things happen to Wes.

I'm thinking "Clear" will be next.

Whee! I got the first negative comment ever on a rec I made!

I feel all jaded and stuff. Also, somewhat like saying "y'know, I did *warn* you about all the stuff you disliked about it, including, oh, the slash."

Oddly, I'm giggling.

And wondering what else to rec to get knotted knickers.

Why am I suddenly giggling uncontrollably and chanting, "I am an evil cow!"

I shall attempt to dig into my pile of "hot and twisted" this weekend, just for you.

Thank you!

I must say, this is actually the first time I've seen someone bitch about TBQ's writing. Mwahahaha.

So, what do you think, should I rec Te's "Clear" next? In which, yet again, bad things happen to Wes, and Giles lets loose his nasty ol' inner queen?

See, normally, things come through by authors I don't recognize, from people I don't recognize, and I don't bother with reading them so I can give a scathing critique (because at this point, with LJ and list traffic, I can honestly say I *have* heard of most of the good writers out there, and new ones don't go unnoticed.)

Maybe I should start.

Hmm.

Or find an evil twin to do it for me.
