Twi's Chloe/Lana challenge is over and the stories are posted. Some of them are absolute crap. A couple are halfway decent. I'd say one of mine leans toward the crap side, the other two are somewhere around the halfway decent mark. Damned with faint praise, indeed.

Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Polyamorous Recs has been updated. 75 stories over 21 fandoms. We're currently wondering if there's a stronger word than "crackwhore."
Bless you, Dana. New HP/Sandman, hurrah!
And anyone who has not yet read Lovers and Dreamers, RUN.
There's a link at PolyRecs. I'm lazy.
Hm, I think I read a Sandman/Pop crossover awhile ago...hm.
I'll second the suggestion of Te's fic recs. I've lost many a fine weekend there. Yes, that's a positive reccommendation.
In other news, is anyone writing good PotC fic yet? I haven't see much over on LJ, but most of my friends list is Smallville/Stargate/Buffy oriented, with some Highlander thrown in for nostalgia value.
A couple PoTC recs hit All_Fandom_Recs this morning, but I haven't checked them out, since I haven't seen the bloody movie yet.

It's all in the pirategasm community, or lots of it.
Umm. Hrrm. Shrift had a good start, which she'd best better finish.
Much of what I've seen's overly serious, without the fun and giddy drunken joy of the film. I want the GDJ. When I find it, I'll come running.

Ooooh, thanks! <Scurries off to LJ>

Shrift probably will. Yesterday was meltdown day. Had hives from some strange new food allergy. Was v. bad all around.
Will definitely be including the disclaimer, in very large font, "Liberties, both historical and etymological, have been taken for the sake of gay pirate love."
