Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It's on after B5 on SciFi

This is why I watch B5 on DVDs. Because then? After B5, is B5.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks for the Sentinel info!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

This is why I watch B5 on DVDs. Because then? After B5, is B5.

Okay, but to be fair, I just watched that gut-twisting tear-making S3 two-parter, and I needed the Sentinel for good cheer.

Plus, of course, slash.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Totally gay.

I mean, couldn't get gayer without being Lex and Clark.

.....mmm....new tag smell. May I?

You may, sweet thing.

(To put the slash in perspective? Jim and Blair's 'friendship' was just saved by a really, really, gay hippy angel.)

(And now I must find more fic.)

Ah, hell. Sentinel fans? Fav fics?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

From a not-overwhelmingly-good crossover, but this made me snicker:

Gozer's gaze snapped toward the discomfited archeologist, and his eyes glowed with a strange mixture of curiosity and contempt. The dog-monster sniffed the air and growled, as its master asked in the distorted tones of the Goa'uld, "Are you a god?"

"Well, no. But I'm married to one," Daniel replied.

Up with the sun

I just read the new Herself story.

It's great, but, dammit...

Spoilers follow: I hate it when a writer takes two characters, makes them happy -- an earned happiness, not a fluffy-bunnies happiness -- and then decides to torture them. I would have liked the fic much better if it had ended with Buffy and William getting engaged: to have Spike all happy and human and suntanned, and then reduce him to a vamp eating rats, is ... it's just mean. If TPtB made Spike human in such a conditional way as they do in the story, I'd say the Gods were mean; for this story, Herself is God.

I mean, I understand that it's supposed to be literary.or something. But, dammit, the story is basically highly literate smutfit. It doesn't need to have a literary, nightmare-esque ending! A fluffy bunny one would be perfect! Really!

In short, the story would be perfect if it ended about 5 pages sooner.
