Thrive to spite them
I went out to dinner with my friend D and I ended up telling her about fanfiction, she knows that I'm really into tv shows and such and she thought the idea of fanfiction was really cool. I kind of left out the parts about slash and NC-17 ratings when I was talking about it though because I was giving her the 10 minute recap of fandom in general.
The first thing she asked was "Is there Seinfeld fanfic?" It's her favorite show, it's probably the only show she watches reruns regularly for...so, uh, does anyone know if there is such a thing?

An unusually decent article on fanfiction. Mostly HP-focused. Unlike almost every other article I can remember seeing, it allows for the possibility that (a) we may be legally okay under fair use and (b) we aren't all pervy freaks with no lives.
