Thank you kindly. Glad y'all liked it. I certainly had an obscene amount of fun writing it, not to mention researching the Mandarin insults and monkey-brain-eating.
Plus, I've been walking around saying "Zombified!" all week, AIFG!

When a Strawberry is Pushed into a Mountain, by Thamiris (SV, NC-17). Stuff like this is the reason I got into SV fandom in the first place. It's hot, it's beautiful, it's about poetry, and it hits every single kink button I own. Also, I really shouldn't be reading it at work.
Wrod! In fact I was just coming over here to pimp it too. First piece of SV I've read in months, but - sheesh. St Sebastian. Poetry being written on skin. Strawberries. Hands being bound. Classic Clexian goodness. Plus Chloe getting a cool future and embracing her inner dyke. What's not to love?
Stop it, Fay. What I said about it hitting my kinks? Please just... stop. I can't take any more. I'll be in my bunk
What I said about it hitting my kinks?
Thee and me both, lass. There's a reason why Sixty miles an hour and Paper are two of my favourite SV stories.
Amych, you're trouble. I just "wasted" over half an hour reading that. Man, it was so well done! Whew...
you're trouble
Mua-ha-ha-ha-ha!
I think what I liked best about it was that it wasn't rushed. It was so rich in the little details and in tying so many things together. The banana bread, dang... that was just so great.
Fay, do you have a link for "Paper"?
Just finished "Strawberry," gosh, I was in tears at how lovely it was.
But I've read too many comics to be happy with Lex cooperating with Superman. I would have been happier if he didn't know, more angsty goodness. The ending was funny as hell, but just a wee too campy.
Not to say I'm not going to re-read up till that point. Several times. At home where there's no annoying phone to interrupt.
