Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Stop it, Fay. What I said about it hitting my kinks? Please just... stop. I can't take any more. I'll be in my bunk

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

What I said about it hitting my kinks?

Thee and me both, lass. There's a reason why Sixty miles an hour and Paper are two of my favourite SV stories.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Amych, you're trouble. I just "wasted" over half an hour reading that. Man, it was so well done! Whew...

I think what I liked best about it was that it wasn't rushed. It was so rich in the little details and in tying so many things together. The banana bread, dang... that was just so great.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Fay, do you have a link for "Paper"?

Just finished "Strawberry," gosh, I was in tears at how lovely it was.

But I've read too many comics to be happy with Lex cooperating with Superman. I would have been happier if he didn't know, more angsty goodness. The ending was funny as hell, but just a wee too campy.

Not to say I'm not going to re-read up till that point. Several times. At home where there's no annoying phone to interrupt.

It's a tough nut, the whole Lex-n-Supes thing (as distinct from the Lex/Clark thing, which is practically canon).

For myself (not that I'm writing any more than drabbles) my SV futurefic universe is all about the big painful breakup that leads to their eventually being nemesis-is-is-is-es. Because I have to make the totally obvious big-gay-love work with at least that basic level of Supes canon. And yet, as a reader, I'm an utter and complete sucker for C/L romance. One of those things where reading and writing tastes don't quite match up, I guess.

Hell, yeah, the combination seduction/literary epiphany made me think "Film this and show it every Christmas!" and brushed away such piddly things like over 50 years of comic book history. I was all "they're so sweet together, the cuties."

This should in Clex, I suppose, but how the hell am I going to explain to my surprisingly straight-laced Hubby that I watch a show with even more inconceivable plot structure than Buffy because I think the two main male characters are in love? Hubby does not appreciate the HoYay.

And I always come on these things a couple of years in, so now I have to catch up with everything.
