Thrive to spite them

I know the Prisoner. Haven't watched a lot of it but one of my exes was big time into it.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Never saw UFO, but loved Prisoner and am an Emma Peel junkie.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

An alien in a N.A.S.A. moonwalking suit, with, IIRC, green skin, but otherwise totally human looking. I'm glad I made you giggle, Deb.

I tried to find eps of UFO on Kazaa. Lordy, there are some serious conspiricists out there. I think I ran into some fredlet files.

edited to add, found this on a geocities site:

"Why are John Drake and Emma Peel apparently celibate when they would make such a good couple? Why does John Steed have no romantic interest in Emma Peel? Why did "The Prisoner" come on after "Secret Agent"? Why did Emma Peel join The Avengers while Danger Man was on? Why did Emma Peel leave the Avengers after Number Six left the village? Enquiring minds want to know!"

and one more addition, moonbase from UFO:

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

nothing she sees and reads will ever be straightforward again.

Sorta like grad school, only with porn.

Snerk! So true.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Is there any decent Connor-Lindsey fic out there? Preferably with a plot.

If you find any, for God's sake do tell me. Really.

Meanwhile: Fearless Diva's finished Seeing the Light aifg. (Harry/Draco. PG. Set a little while after Tissue of Silver.)

In which Harry and Draco (who are not out as a couple) attend Hermione's engagement party.

...It seemed like every minor celebrity and self-important politician had managed to wrangle an invitation, not surprising given Hermione's status as a War Hero and her relation to the Minster's Family. This was one of the big social events of the season. Hermione herself was standing at the end of the hall near the dais, giving instructions to the musicians. She finished talking to them, turned and saw Harry standing in the doorway with his Slytherin entourage. She smiled at him and waved but her eyebrows quirked up in surprise and she gave him a questioning look.

Draco leaned over and whispered in his ear. "I thought you said you told her about us."

Oh, shit. "I said I was going to, but I wanted to tell her in person, and we've both been really busy so . . ." Harry's heart found a nice place to settle just below his stomach.

"So you didn't tell her." His tone set a new standard for icy. "Of course you didn't tell her. Excuse me." He pushed by Harry and set off at a determined pace for the bar.

Harry glanced over at Snape, who was looking as though he was trying to decide the best method for evisceration and just couldn't quite make up his mind. "Mr. Potter. I am constantly amazed by your ability to function with your head so far up your arse. Do you think you might opt for a surgical removal at some point?"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I haven't seen any, and I'm pretty sure that particular pairing would have caught my attention in a big way.

Someone will just have to write me some.

Huh. Just got some feedback on how I could fix the LFN story I just posted.

I mean, it's better than a mindless LoC, I guess...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How? How?

LoC

Eh? What? I feel very stupid, but I can't figure what this stands for.
