Simon: I swear when it's appropriate. Kaylee: Simon, the whole point of swearing is that it ain't appropriate.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Dana, I should send you some chocolate, and will so do, in fact. Name your choice.

Aw, it's nothing. I've been using automated archives since...99, so it's pretty much old hat. Plus, when it's a site shrift runs, I know I can always throw myself on her mercy if I do something terribly wrong. Just save the chocolate for next time I see you. Or the next time you do a batch of ginger things (please note, this is not a special request, and you are not allowed to do ginger things just for me.)

Hmm. I'm a bossy bitch on Fridays.

Tell me when next time I see you is likely to be, and you might even convince me to not send you chocolate, and wait instead.

Better be definitive.

I am also a bossy bitch on Fridays.

Have you been reading the prequel to Pensioner at all? In progress on Bitchy?

Curses. Out-bitched.

I've been skimming it, but not reading in detail, largely because I hadn't reread The Pensioner yet. I did somehow magically catch the sex scene...

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You should. It's lovely, with a character I wish could be introduced to the show.

I'm actually having a bit of dilemna about "Needfire." Anything to do with Oxford brings back tutoring days for me, and the one song I listened to pretty much 24/7 at the time was an old Pink Floyd song, one of the most evocative bits of music in my world, called "Grantchester Meadows."

Problem is, Grantchester Meadows (the place that inspired the song) is actually in frellin' Cambridge, near the Lammas Lands.

And it hasn't given me a plot bunny, so much as just made me yearn to write something set there, because the lyrics are so damned haunting. And I've been to Cambridge once in my life, nearly a quarter century ago, and I can't put anything there with any accuracy at all.

Damn it.

Magical sex-scene catching Dana. How did you like Rupert in that, my sister in Gilesosity?

Any time there's a pole joke, I'm there.

Seriously, it's hard to find people who can skillfully construct areas of the Jossverse that we haven't seen, or aspects of the characters we haven't experienced. You're so good at that.
