Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I'm probably the last person in the world not to have discovered this one already, but day-um, Season Noir is brilliant. (I'm three chapters in.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Anna actually has a new Xander/Spike up.

Throwing Shapes. Please don't beat her up for its not being a new Noir story; she's doing that to herself.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

If she were writing Harry Potter actorfic boyband crossover. I would still read it. And cry at the end.

Right From the Start is an interesting Wesley story, set around the end of season 3.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Right From the Start

Oh, I liked that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It hit my "good, but not *quite* good enough to be rec'd" bracket, but that still puts it above 90% of what's out there.

I think her Wesley voice was nice -- perhaps not as dark as I normally expect of post-S3 Wes, but the bit about Angel was deadon.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Can I kill myself with a nailfile now?

I just sent something with two errors out. Only to the autoarchives, so I can fix it before it hits the lists*, but neither I nor my beta caught them.

Hmm. I bet I could stake myself with the ballpoint pen...

(* obviously not the archive lists, but I can fix it before it hits the other lists.)

Thanks for all the fish.

PMM, with the Lilah story? Did I miss something? What?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's in the queue at BFA-L. Tell me what they are, and I'll fix them, provided someone else doesn't get to them first.
