So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Why, God, why?

Cause he's the prettiest?

Don't ask me. I'm just sitting here listening to a live version of "Home" and reading Amends the Next Time again and again and again.

Becuase, um, because, um, err, it's better than Buffy having a baby?

Dude, at least she's a chick.

Besides, it can be done without being TOO ghastly. Or so I've deluded myself into thinking.

Fay, would it help you to be told that Legolas called his son (born just after Moria) Gandalf ?

Certainly, the two at Bagenders are readable, if not loveable.

Hmmm. So one of my fics won some kind of "fanfiction award". I find this odd. Actually, I find fanfiction awards in general to be odd.

Does anyone actually decide to read a fic because it won some random title?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Depends on the award.

Depends on which award, and how it was chosen to win that award.

Edit: x-posty with Dana.

Oh. Are there, like, real awards? Ones that are considered...what's the word I'm looking for...ah! prestigious.

Because I don't think I've come across any of those in the puppyslashverse yet.

Well, I was thinking more of the knocking up Buffy part of the equation. Because I've never written, nor will I ever write, Legolas sprogging, but I'm guilty of doing it to Buffy within recent memory, and with the tongue removed from my cheek for once.

I have no idea what goes on in puppyslash.

In many other fandoms, there are major awards that are usually a good arbiter of quality. Like The Spookys, in X-Files, or the Halos, in Buffy.
