My great-grandmother was called S.A. I never did figure out why, since her name was Helen.
I really only have one pseud, for ficcy purposes, and even there, people know my real first name since it's in my email address. I can't really think of amych as a pseud, since it's my first name and last two initials; of course that's perfectly obvious to me, but I never realized until the F2F that people were trying to pronounce it as a word.
How is it pronounced? It's gotta sound Slavic.
Actually, it came out kinda like "Amish", if you were to say that with a long A.
In my head it's kind of like a-mi-'cht, really fast, t almost silent.
t feeling loopy
Just saw my first Firefly fic, on Glass_Onion. Not bad. Of course it would mean more if I'd seen the whole episode. Heh.
Any link?
Mentally, when I see it (even knowing your real name) it comes out as aym-ITCH.
When I read it, it's "am-ick." Dunno why. Though I succeeded in calling you Amy on the phone.
Any link?
There's already a Firefly Archive.
Here's a link to the story posted on Glass Onion: By Their Hands by Maidenjedi.
I went with Amy-Chuh! in my mind for a while, until you became more distinctively Amyesque to me.
Amy-Chuh!
Superhero, or Pokemon character?
