Flattered, m'dear, but it's Thursday.

Amych's Kryptonite?
Kryptonite?
I hope not. Got a bad & ugly Thursday thing nagging at the back of my head, but I'm desperately scrambling to not put too much stock in it.
Anyway, it's METEOR ROCKS.
Plot rocks. Or, as they're called in the UK, premise stones.
Sigh. ita said that I was going to be writing fic, it was only a matter of time. I pooh-poohed it, but that night, I couldn't sleep because a plot was unfolding. Sigh. So now I have the plot going. It's inevitable, isn't it?
Dang. Amych catches my typo.
Sorry, Burrell. Not at all evitable. Welcome to the land of the plot bunny.
So you're saying I won't start writing just because I've started plotting? Okay, that's probably true.
If you start now, resisting the urge to put words on paper, keep from thinking "But how on earth would I get him to do that? Hm, if that happened, this could be an interesting repercussion ..." you should be fine. Many people lead rich, fulfilling lives without writing fan fic.
In my head it's kind of like a-mi-'cht, really fast, t almost silent.
T.L. MzLizard speaks for me.
[random] I have this sudden urge to read fic called Rouge Demon Hunter, although whether this would be about Wesley as a demon hunter who wears rouge or as a hunter of cosmetic demons I haven't quite decided. I'm easy. Anyone want to write some for me? [/random]
also? Just seen the last episode of The X Files, or at least most of it - missed the first half hour or so. It was, imho, in many respects a vertitable vortex of suckitude, and once again I'm very glad that this show was not the focus of my heartfelt fannish adoration whilst it was still running, because yes, the gradual disillusionment and sense of betrayal as one realised that CC & co were winging it madly would have been heartbreaking. But I am still very fond of the characters (excepting Monica, whom I've only seen twice). I do love Doggett to pieces (although I'm almost certainly mis-spelling his name) but I wish they hadn't recycled the Mulder lost child thing for him. It's cheap, and he's better than that, damn it.
But look, I have to ask - did Mulder and Scully get textually romantic at any point? Because this final ep seemed to read like they were textually involved, and I've only watched it patchily. Um. (And apparently I missed a bit of Krycek in it, although I was pleased that I saw the Gunmen.)
