"ese" is Spanish for "friend"? I thought it was Spanish for "that".
I go by ita, serenada (my capoeira name), and capoeira_girl. So anyone that knows me can tell it's me. I've also started going by rank_tyro. Can't quite explain that one. Wait, no, then there's velvet and the derivatives.
I'm not as straightforward as I'd hoped.
I have been told that I speak French like a Swiss goatherder. Also that I have the cutest little Parisian accent. What can you do?

Hm. All I know is: "Hey! Ese!" Slang?
I have to tell someone. RivkaT just told me she likes my stuff.
squeeeeeeeal!
OK, done with the fangirlishness.
Slang.
"Hey, you there!", more or less.
"Friend" is "amiga" or "amigo".
ita is correct.
Not that I remember most of my Spanish anymore (Puerto Rican slang, I still have some memory of..). But I did once try to read Garcia Marquez in it. Which broke me.
Just saw my first Firefly fic, on Glass_Onion. Not bad. Of course it would mean more if I'd seen the whole episode. Heh.
I'm Holli most places, but I use Meleh for fic and I've started using Micheleh when I want extra anonymity.
My great-grandmother was called S.A. I never did figure out why, since her name was Helen.
I really only have one pseud, for ficcy purposes, and even there, people know my real first name since it's in my email address. I can't really think of amych as a pseud, since it's my first name and last two initials; of course that's perfectly obvious to me, but I never realized until the F2F that people were trying to pronounce it as a word.
How is it pronounced? It's gotta sound Slavic.
