If I only had a brain...

Man, I gotta cut back on the pseuds, don't I?

Yes. Keeping track of all the various incarnations of Buffistas (Consuela, Dana, and Vee, I'm looking at you) can drive a woman to Excel.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Hey! I've only got...

Three. I think. Well, four. Kind of. And only one that I use in fandom. (not counting the p.m. marcontell one.)

Two names! I have two! And one of them is real!

Now if you want to hit me on e-mail addresses, I'd have to plead guilty there.

Always Anti-fascist!

I only have one. I am the Tony Danza of cyberspace.

It's a remora, dimwit.

What I meant was that the owner of the site has free speech - if the owner of ff.net doesn't want NC-17 stuff, then they've got the right to keep it off. It's like what they say about religion, freedom of speech also includes the freedom to say shut the fuck up.

So far I've only got two other pseuds, and I'm thinking of more, because I've just gotten this delightful email suggesting that instead of my normal crappy style, I imitate this other writer, who just also happens to be me. I could start the most pointless flame war ever, even scarier than the fight about Xena's methods of sanitation.

BWAH!

Okay, that's funny.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

That's excellent.

I want to start a flamewar between myself and me, but I fear I would only amuse myself and no one else. And flaming yourself in private e-mail just doesn't have the same frisson.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Hmm. Well, a lot of fannish people seem to consistently confuse me with Dana (not that I mind, heh) or think that we're the same person.

Sometimes I amuse myself by thinking about how screwed-up a person a Dashriftna would have to be in order to pull it off.

Well, that kinda works out well for me, since I get to be temporarily cooler than I am.

But yeah, *that's* the twisted part. (Considers changing pseud to Dashriftna.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Someone once accused me of being Shrift because my site is hosted on Shriftweb. I can only *dream* of being so cool. But I don't slounge nearly as well as Shrift.

And I don't hide my internet identity... I just... it just sort of happened. I never expected to have so much overlap between the other part of my online life and the Buffistas. Anyone who wants to know who I am can look at my profile and there is the pseud for all to see.

As for the "new" name Consuela, well, that's in response to all the people who were apparently calling me "Sue-Ella" in their heads for the last 2 years. Since Suela is derived from Consuela, and is a legitimate college-age nickname, I'm not going to feel bad about it.

Just, um, have mercy on the other Connies around here, and call me Consuela or Suela or Hey! You with the Dog! or cofax ... *grins*
