Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Dude, that was a good story.

Oh, thanks, RL, and Steph, you pusher you! Don't forget to read the other stories in the series, and send feedback to Maria and Marasmus, who are just as responsible as I am -- and far far better writers.

Maria has a marvelous way with Mulder, and a use of imagery I wish I could channel. While Marasmus is an evil plotter, and comes up with some brilliant turns of phrase. They're great writers and it's been an honor to write with them.

The biggest compliment I've gotten to date is that nobody can tell the stories we've collaborated on were written by more than one person. *grin*

Must remember to check for Fimbulwinter when I get home. Lust over Pendle will probably hold me through work.

We still get on OK, it's just that we concluded that as the biggest single thing we had in common was that we both preferred shagging men, the odds weren't good for a long term relationship.

How am I supposed to work competently with lines like that coming at me from left field?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, you're meeting Melanie! She's a sweetheart, isn't she? Terrible taste in boyfriends, though.

Oh, sweet mother ...

Draco’s about as discreet as an indiscreet thing celebrating the festival of St Ignatius the Infamously Indiscreet

Which I immediately recognized as a former tag of Fay's.

I still wanted to see Draco/Neville nookie, though.

Dana, you realize your tag is one of my old sigs, right? And that I'm listening to that album right now? Heh.

Actually, I'm wrong. I used another verse for my sig. God I love that song. This album was the soundtrack to Written on a Thumbnail -- I even used the song titles for chapter headings.

Oh, I know. You used the bit about "I'm the darkness in your daughter." I was listening to the album and talking about the song with Betsy, and then it wouldn't let go of me.
