Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Art Crawl!!!

Richard Roundtree has joined the cast of Speed Racer.

You guys know that Scott Porter ("Street" from FNL) is playing the young Racer X, right?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Man, that movie shouldn't be as funny as it is

I'm so glad it is, though. These days, even the pinging sound of a rubber ball can elicit peals of laughter from me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Live Free or Die Hard was awesome! It was very much a Die Hard movie with lots of great explosions, as Gris mentioned, but more than that, it's an action movie that gets you viscerally involved, where you're leaning back in your seat and ducking to avoid debris and all that shit. It's a lot of fun. And Justin Long is good, too. I would have to rewatch the other movies if I wanted to bother with comparing it to the others, but I loved it.

My only complaint, really, is that, despite the fact that I like Timothy Olyphant in Go, he doesn't really pull off the villain role in this one. He's no Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons or whoever the hell was the villain in the second one...though I guess he must be better than him, if I can't even remember him. There's not much to his performance beyond a one-note intensity.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Have y'all watched the extras on Dodgeball? Justin Long's monologue to the two beefy guys flanking him as they're waiting for the cheer tryouts in hi-frickin'-larious. Bless.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I love Go. The acid trip cat!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yesterday someone told me that wotsername that plays Hermione doesn't want to make any more HP movies. Has anyone here heard that?

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm pretty sure all of the trio are signed through the end.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Justin Long will always be the nerdy kid who has to take out the trash while trying to save the universe in Galaxy Quest. I don't care how old he gets.
