Yesterday someone told me that wotsername that plays Hermione doesn't want to make any more HP movies. Has anyone here heard that?
Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I'm pretty sure all of the trio are signed through the end.
Justin Long will always be the nerdy kid who has to take out the trash while trying to save the universe in Galaxy Quest. I don't care how old he gets.
The doesn't-want-to-make-more was the standard disagreement over fees, however I'm pretty sure that was resolved a few months back.
Justin Long
He was also in Jeepers Creepers, a really enjoyably scary film for the first 45 minutes or so. GF's dad insisted we watch it as he caught it on HBO and loved it. It was pretty decent as those things go.
You're not wrong, Gloomcookie. I thought it was great until Rod Hull's Emu turned up near the end. [link]
Well, she was saying from the beginning that she didn't like Hermione, so it actually doesn't surprise me that much.
And that is all I will say right now about the whole movie-Hermione issue.
Yay, another list!
PopMatters' list of the 50 DVDs every movie fan must own. (Formatted slightly oddly -- the link is to the introductory essay, and then the actual list of 50, divided into 5 categories of 10 films each, is in sidebars on the right.) I've only seen 23, mostly because my intake of foreign films and '70s films has been truly abysmal.
Makes me all warm'n'fuzzy that The Big Lebowski makes the list, though.
I just watched that one Saturday, JZ. Love it. But I like finding it on TV for some reason. Or maybe I'm afraid I'll stop watching new things if I have one, in favor of it.

It's like a little surprise present from the TV to you. TBL, Raising Arizona, Groundhog Day -- I will never, ever see those pop up and not stop and watch, even if it's down to the last 10 minutes.
