Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We loved Long Way Round. Lots of Ewan for me, motorcycles for the DH and exotic locales and interesting folk for the both of us. It boosted my Ewan love to the stratosphere, and it was already pretty high up there.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sorry, Charley..no offense. You seem cool...I'm just not always good with names. Satellites rule the world now if Russian border guards know who Ewan is.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three starts shooting later this year."
What-what-what? They just did a remake of that, didn't they?

Okay, Google tells me the remake was in 1998. STILL.

And a remake of The Warriors is Clearly Wrong, but I would give them a special dispensation if it's done in the style of 300, because that would be HILARIOUS.

ETA: From now on all my paragraphs will end in ASSCAPS.

Flickering, painterly neon light as armed punks chase after a CGI bus in slow motion?

Another social casualty...

What movies are people looking forward to being released this year?

Stardust is my next-must see. I can't wait for it.

Hey. New board.

I'm very excited for Hairspray the Musical the Second Movie or whatever (is there anybody out there that's surprised?). Amanda Bynes is actually the casting I'm most excited about, because I adore her and think she will be hilarious in that role. Yes, she's very pretty, but she can do awkward well, which is what Penny is all about.

I don't know how I feel about Zac Efron. He's awful in High School Musical. But then, I'm not sure if he could possibly be good in that, so I don't actually know. We'll see.

Stardust! HP! Yay!

Now. Who's seen Xanadu? Because I haven't, but I'm going to see the mocking Broadway version soon!

I've not only seen it, I own the soundtrack.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think that was one of the first albums I ever owned. That and Synchronicity.

What, I can't have layers?
