Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Why don't you guys go see movies on weekdays? They never sell out. Well once, the first show of The Departed sold out on a Monday but that's just 'cause it was in a smaller house.

Because books.

I was amazed today that the theatre we were in for P3 had only about ... forty people in it, if my estimate is correct. LOTS of empty ROWS, not just seats.

But it was the third show -- 12:50, with 12:10 and 12:somethingelse is two other theaters, and three shows scheduled around 4ish. Still, I expected more people since it's only the second weekend, right?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Why don't you guys go see movies on weekdays?

Usually cause I'm working full time and then there's the munchkin. And school, usually.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Why don't you guys go see movies on weekdays?

I get home from work around 8pm or 8:30 most nights, and me going to a 10pm movie after 12 hours of work and driving = paying $8 for an uncomfortable nap.

OK weekends it is. Try going around 3:00 if there is such a show, there's usually a lull then. Also the first show of the day usually doesn't sell out. Sometimes you can get in to the very last show, too.

Hey. New board.

I saw Knocked Up. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Judd Apatow is a good movie-maker.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Waitress

Crossing my fingers that this is the movie that finally makes Nathan Fillion a star. I hope I get to see it before it leaves.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Waitress is starting to drop off (it's peaked), so it'll disappear from wide release shortly. It'll do about 12 million in the US in total. Not bad for a tiny indy film. (nearly half of Serenity's amount, which cost $40m - heh)

Art Crawl!!!

Oh no! I haven't had a chance to see it yet. (I don't even know if it's playing here.)

Art Crawl!!!

I checked the IMDB - -the closest theatre that's showing Waitress is in the northern 'burbs (at least an hour away), the next closest is in Indianapolis and the third closest is in St. Louis.
