Cacophony.  That's pretty.  What's it mean?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So, last person in the world to see 28 Days Later. I hit IMDB up to find out about the alternate ending, and it's kinda gibberishlike. I mean, they say there's an ending like the one described previously, but with a rooster instead of Jim.

What the hell does that mean?

When I saw it in theatres, they showed around three different endings, two of them after the end credits. I can't really remember any of them, except that different characters died/lived in different quantities and situations.

move out and draw fire

The DVD has an alternate ending storyboard set, where after Jim gets shot they go to a hospital and he dies and someone else shows up and whatever.

I thought the ending as produced felt a bit like a different movie from the preceding hour, but the alternate I saw felt REALLY different. Instead of being a contagion movie it veered sharply into boxed-in stalker horror.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

ita, I just saw that a couple days ago too! I liked it a lot -- more than I was expecting to, considering I'm generally not a big fan of horror, gore, or any movie that I have to watch half of through my fingers. But I really loved all three of the main characters, and the zombies were super creepy without being over-the-top.

The DVD had two filmed alternate endings and one more storyboarded alternate ending. In both of the filmed alternate endings, Jim dies, and in one of them, we see Selina and Hannah in the same cottage at the end, making the HELLO sign, and there's a scene with Selina talking to someone offscreen that I think we're initially meant to assume is Jim, but then turns out to be a rooster.

The storyboarded alternate ending veers off from a much earlier point in the movie and turns it into something quite different, with a SUPER bleak ending. I really liked the actual ending that made it into the movie, myself, but then, I'm a fan of (at least somewhat) happy endings.

edit: I probably don't need to whitefont that alternate ending stuff, but whatever.

Okay, now the rooster thing makes more sense. Thanks.

I'm doing my homework. Need to see 28 Days Later before 28 Weeks Later and also before Shaun of the Dead. But I think we're allowed to see Hot Fuzz before Shaun.

The evil is this way?

But I think we're allowed to see Hot Fuzz before Shaun.

Yes, but there are some inside jokes in "Hot Fuzz" that reference "Shaun of the Dead."

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

okay, either dan radcliffe has a weird, weird face, or his haircut in OOTP is actually *less* flattering than his GOF haircut, which is kind of a feat in and of itself.

do we wf for trailer?

Well, dang, I guess I'm going to have to rent SotD to find those. I just saw Hot Fuzz, but I have such a crap memory. I can tell you I've seen a movie and that's about it.
