It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Ann, that's a ferret.

For AMC purposes, I don't care whether Catwoman was good or bad. If it just left the theaters last year, it doesn't belong on a classic movie channel. Unless you can tie it very closely to the movie that ran just before it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, like filler for the last two hours after a Val Lewton Cat People/Curse of the Cat People retrospective might make sense (especially if Mike Nelson and the MST3K crew were hosting), but not on its own.

If Mike and the robots ever do trash it, I'd put it in my permanent collection

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it just left the theaters last year

Last year, three years ago...I don't know. I can imagine something like LA Confidential making it to AMC in short order. But I don't think Catwoman should be shown anywhere ever.

Of course, now I do have to TiVo it, just to be sure.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Maggie Gyllanhaal is in talks to replace Katie Holmes in the next Bats Film.

That's a big upgrade imo.

I'm still having trouble envisioning Heath as the Joker, but that's not even in the same league as the "meh" I felt about Katie Holmes (though I did like her in GO).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm still having trouble envisioning Heath as the Joker

I'm totally not having any qualms about this. I think back to some scenes in 10 Things I Hate About You. He's got this wide grin that I think will be perfect for the joker. Plus, he can sing and dance with some level of grace. I wonder if it's just "laconic, repressed gay cowboy" that is overshadowing any picture of him as the Joker.
