Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You all have seen Bad Company, with Ellen Barkin and Laurence Fishburne, right?

Always Anti-fascist!

I think so. Sounds like something I'd watch.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mmm. Yeah. Watched that every single day when I was out sick with chicken pox at 12. When I got better, I went and got her haircut.

It's a great haircut!

Laurence is so great in that movie. One of my favorite nineties neo-noirs.

I've thought he was great since he was Furious Styles in Boys N The Hood.(Although that character's fondness for "Ooh, Child," is part of that, as is the greatness of being named "Furious Styles")

What? Didn't you watch Pee Wee's Playhouse?

Or Apocalypse Now, for that matter.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Loved this. Such a wonderfully nasty, cynical movie. Although, much like with THE GRIFTERS, I kinda wanted to take a shower afterwards.

Other great Fishburne roles:

The undercover cop in DEEP COVER (although Jeff Goldblum is the one who walks away with the movie)

Jimmy Jump in KING OF NEW YORK (where HE walks away with a movie that includes Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito, Steve Buscemi, Wesley Snipes and David Caruso all doing superlative work).
